International advocacy organization Global Citizen and the European Commission are partnering on  Global Goal: Unite for Our Future—The Concert, a globally televised and digitally streamed special that will air tomorrow, Saturday, June 27 at 8PM PDT on NBC.  Special guests include Gustavo Dudamel with members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles) alumni musicians alongside vocalist J’Nai Bridges.  Following County safety guidelines and taking all necessary precautions, their performance was recorded late last week at the Hollywood Bowl. Gustavo and the musicians were thrilled to be back on stage together.

Hosted by Dwayne Johnson, the televised concert will also feature performances by Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Shakira, J Balvin, Chloe x Halle, Christine and the Queens, Usher, and Yemi Alade among others. The event was organized by the non-profit Global Citizen to combat the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on marginalized communities and urge governments around the world to make testing and future vaccines available to the less advantaged.
