2022 Programming
Bethel Woods Center for the Arts—a non-profit performance venue, museum and site of the 1969 Woodstock festival—has shared a preview of its 2022 lineup of concerts, exhibits and educational programming. Ranked among the best amphitheaters in the world by Pollstar Magazine, Bethel Woods’ robust concert calendar will feature talented artists including Phish; Brandi Carlile; Thomas Rhett with Parker McCollum and Conner Smith; Steely Dan with guest Aimee Mann; Train with special guests Jewel, Blues Traveler & Will Anderson; Josh Groban with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band; Chicago and Brian Wilson with Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin; Dave Matthews Band; Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band; Santana with Earth, Wind & Fire and The Who—returning to the site for the first time since Woodstock.
The Museum at Bethel Woods will feature a special gallery “& Art Fair”, an engaging and interactive exhibit highlighting an oft-forgotten aspect of the Woodstock Music & Art Fair. The exhibit will showcase art made for Woodstock and at Woodstock by artists, organizers, and attendees.
Also in 2022, IT’S TAP-PENING. Bethel Woods will serve as the new home of the TAP ® NY: Craft Beer & Food Festival—one of the best beer festivals and prestigious competitions in the country and the longest-running in New York state—featuring over 100 from across New York state.
The grounds will also pilot a U.S. version of Hello Wood, a new art and architecture festival based on the model of Hello Wood in Europe. Hello Wood is a hands-on, design-build education platform focused on innovative and sustainable design solutions using wood as a primary construction material. Five universities will be invited to participate in this pilot program.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts inspires, educates, and empowers individuals through the arts and humanities by presenting a diverse selection of culturally-rich performances, popular artists, and community and educational programming. Located 90 miles from New York City at the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival in Bethel, NY, the lush 800-acre campus includes a Pavilion Stage amphitheater with seating for 16,000, an intimate 422-seat indoor Event Gallery, the award-winning Museum at Bethel Woods, and a Conservatory for arts education programming.
Through the in-depth study and exhibition of the social, political, and cultural events of the 1960s, as well as the preservation of the historic site of the Woodstock Music and Art Fair, Bethel Woods educates individuals about the issues and lessons of the decade while inspiring a new generation to contribute positively to the world around them. The not-for-profit organization relies on the generous support of individuals, corporations, and foundations to develop and sustain programs that improve the quality of life in the region and beyond.
