Kino Lorber is releasing Richard Dewey‘s Radical Wolfe, the first documentary about iconic American author and New Journalism pioneer Tom Wolfe. Radical Wolfe is an official adaptation of the 2015 Vanity Fair article “How Tom Wolfe Became … Tom Wolfe” by Michael Lewis, best-selling author of Moneyball and The Big Short and a long time personal friend of Wolfe. The film is directed by Dewey (Burden) and executive produced by David Light, Nathan Epstein, and Brian Kaufman and co-produced by Andy Fortenbacher. Radical Wolfe opens at the IFC Center in New York on September 15 and the Laemmle Royal in Los Angeles on September 22, followed by nationwide expansion. 
From a beat reporter at the Washington Post to an overnight sensation as the leader of the New Journalism movement, Tom Wolfe was at the forefront of reshaping how American stories are told.
