This 16-track sensation is no mere tribute to the great minimalist composer, but a re-arranging for La Pietà, an all-female string ensemble featuring some of Canada’s best musicians, founded in 1997 by Dubeau, who states, “Glass being one of the most prolific of composers, there was no shortage of works to include on this my 48th album. My selection approach remains the same; I choose those works I find significant and compelling.
