TITLE SONG RELEASED TODAY

With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, book by Emerald Fennell and lyrics by David Zippel, Bad Cinderella is a modern retelling of the classic fairytale is set in the exceptionally beautiful kingdom of Belleville. This Cinderella (played by newcomer Linedy Genao) is no longer the damsel in distress who needs saving. She finds herself and her prince in new circumstances which cause them to rethink what “happily ever after” really means.

Performances will begin on Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Imperial Theatre (249 W 45th Street), with Opening Night taking place on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Bad Cinderella arrives at the same theater where Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera will have been performing on Broadway every single playing night since September 1979 – an extraordinary 43-year streak. Laurence Connor  directs and JoAnn M. Hunter  choreographs.
