Two words set in motion award-winning playwright  Sanaz  Toossi’s intricate and profound New York debut: “English Only.” This is the mantra that rules one classroom in Iran, where four adult students are preparing for the TOEFL — the Test of English as a Foreign Language. Chasing fluency through a maze of word games, listening exercises, and show-and-tell sessions, they hope that one day, English will make them whole. But it might be splitting them each in half. This world premiere co-production will replace the previously announced Fall 2020 Roundabout Theatre Company production of  English.

Originally set to premiere in the spring of 2020,  Atlantic  is pleased to announce new dates for  The Bedwetter, a highly-anticipated new musical based on the bestselling memoir by Silverman, written with Mr. Harmon (Bad Jews), and featuring a sensational final score by the late Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne), who died at the age of 52 from Covid-19.
