A CROSSWORD, CODE-BREAKING
COLLABORATION WITH KWONG

One of my happiest achievements was getting my husband hooked on solving Crossword Puzzles. Here’s your opportunity to find out why puzzling is so addictive for so many (aside from the mental benefits!). Now, after the enormous popularity of Geffen Playhouse’s production of The Present, it’s no accident that the next show for the “Geffen Stayhouse” is a live, virtual, and interactive world premiere theatrical experience by renowned puzzle master, magician, and devilishly good New York Times “cruciverbalist” (crossword puzzle constructor) David Kwong, whose hit show The Enigmatist had already been postponed at The Geffen until April, 2021. Previewing September 29, 2020, Inside the Box opens on October 8, 2020.

Kwong will regale you with stories of the world’s most extraordinary puzzle-makers through history, as you are treated to a wild ride collaborating with Kwong on code-breaking, puzzle-solving, wordplay, multi-layered games, and other surprises. Part game night and part mystery, only 24 participants per show, with each receiving an advance email with a link to download and print a packet of puzzles used to participate and interact with Kwong during the live performance. And don’t worry about being a previous puzzle solver here — the show is designed with all levels and ages in mind.
