MEH TILDA
Somewhere beneath this incredibly well-crafted tour is a wickedly delightful show. But when more than half of the presentation is indecipherable, (actually more than half), it is impossible to recommend. At the opening of Matilda The Musical‘s North American tour here in Los Angeles, there were two characters I heard better than others, but in some songs, not one word came through. I wondered if it was the British dialect, yet I can understand the original cast album quite clearly. Fix the diction or get supertitles. There will be no review.
But for a bus-and-truck, the show looked great. Here are some photos.
