SHOW-SCORE & TODAYTIX TO PARTNER WITH THE
ENTERTAINMENT COMMUNITY FUND ON ‘PREDICT THE TONYS’
The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), alongside Show-Score and TodayTix, announced today that they have partnered to celebrate theater’s biggest night and benefit the programs and services of the Fund.
TodayTix and Show-Score’s newly launched “Predict the Tonys” experience invites theater lovers to cast votes for who they think will win the top prizes at this year’s Tony Awards ceremony for a chance to win a $1,000 TodayTix gift card.
Now, they are partnering with the Entertainment Community Fund to raise money for the landmark organization that helps all of those who work in entertainment and the performing arts, in every aspect over their lifespan and throughout the entire course of their careers. The organization provides holistic support to assist members of the entertainment community with the unique hardships of working in the industry and lift them up when crises hit, like when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the entire performing arts and entertainment industry in March of 2020. TodayTix and Show-Score will donate $1 to the Entertainment Community Fund for every “Predict the Tonys” entry, up to $4,000.
“Through the pandemic, the Entertainment Community Fund served our community through such a wide range of programs and services focusing on health and wellness, career and life, and financial wellness. And since March of 2020, the Fund has distributed more than $26.9 million in emergency financial assistance to some 17,900 individuals. Now, as we celebrate theater’s return, we’re excited to raise funds for the heroes who kept our community going over the last two years,” said Deeksha Gaur, Co-Founder and General Manager of Show-Score.
