Two pals smoke cannabis that sprouted from the ashes of their dead friend Ivory. They start seeing his ghost. Ivory helps them pass their exams, thus landing them at Harvard. The trouble begins when they run out of Ivory-fertilized weed while struggling to maintain their grades. The movie is absurd but packed with laughter.

       3.   Pineapple Express (2008)

Dale works as a process server and spends his days serving court notices and smoking weed. After he inadvertently witnesses a murder, Dale and his dealer Saul are pulled into the criminal world, being chased by corrupt cops. Both try to escape the situation they find themselves in. The movie is a hilarious mix of thriller and comedy.

       4.   The Big Lebowski (1998)

This movie starring Jeff Bridges as “the Dude” is one of the best made by the Coen Brothers. The Dude is a Los Angeles slouch and die-hard bowler. After being involved in a case of mistaken identity, he discovers the other Lebowski, a millionaire with a kidnapped wife. The millionaire employs the Dude to secure his wife’s release by delivering the ransom, but things don’t go according to plan.

       5.   Dazed and Confused (1993)

The stellar cast of this classic comedy includes young Matthew McConaughey, Ben Affleck, and Milla Jovovich. A group of rowdy teenagers celebrates the last day of high school in Taxes in 1976. The seniors are hazing the incoming freshmen, and everyone is trying to get stoned or drunk, even the football players who signed a pledge not to.

       6.   Super Troopers (2001)

Five Vermont state troopers try to save their jobs by solving a crime. As avid pranksters always looking for action, they raise hell on the highway. They find themselves hilariously heading towards calamity, trying to avoid extinction.

The movie’s plot is thin and pretty absurd, and the only way to enjoy it is to watch it while high. Two stoners had a sweet time last night. Waking up in the morning, they can’t remember a thing, including where they parked their car. They retrace their steps to find the missing car.

The fight scenes and visual effects are worth watching when you’re high. The scene where Neo and Smith fly at each other and fight in the pouring rain in slow motion is especially magnificent.

A veteran pot dealer loses his cash and stash trying to help some teenagers. His boss forces him to go to Mexico and pick up a load of cannabis. The guy creates a fake family as a part of his plan to move this huge shipment into the U.S. To accomplish his mission, he asks a stripper and 2 local teens to join him.

       10. Inherent Vice (2014)

Private detective Larry works his cases through a smoky haze of cannabis. One day, his ex-girlfriend pleads for help. Her current billionaire boyfriend has a wife who may be plotting to commit him to a mental hospital. The movie is carefully crafted, so enjoy the twists and turns of the story and the outstanding actor performance.
