An excellent film for family viewing, based on real events. After losing his wife, Benjamin Mee is left alone with two children. To help his son and daughter recover from their grief, the head of the family decides to start a new life.

The Chronicles of Narnia

The film is based on Clive Lewis‘s fantasy novel of the same name, which consists of three parts. Fleeing the bombing of London, a mother is forced to send her four children to a remote village to stay with a family friend. There, while playing hide and seek, 8-year-old Lucy discovers an unusual wardrobe.

Entering it, she finds herself in a huge snow-covered forest, where she meets a friendly faun. Later, it turns out that this is not just a forest, but a whole country full of wonders, magic, and unusual inhabitants. As is typical for this genre, the story wouldn’t be complete without an evil witch. She becomes perhaps the biggest problem for the children.

During those years, he started a family, lived through World War II, and built a career at a suitcase manufacturing company.

When problems at work cause the hero to forget even his beloved wife and daughter, Winnie the Pooh and other childhood friends reappear in his life. They have all returned to help Christopher Robin find happiness again.
