As with many companies, San Diego’s The Roustabouts have had to restructure due to COVID-19. Now, they are presenting productions and readings in the virtual world. This week, they begin with their archival recording of the 2017 play, Will Cooper’s Margin of Error, a fast-moving drama of twists and turns directed by Rosina Reynolds, and featuring Ruff Yeager, Roxane Carrasco, Kate Reynolds, and Joel Miller. I saw this play while I was with a friend, so I wasn’t on assignment to review. But I tell you this is a must-see!

The story is centered on one evening in which a famous scientist, two of his students, and his wife confront each other in that margin of error where reason goes blind and passions ignite. Margin of Error unveils what can happen when the arrogant, the ambitious, and the vengeful bring love and deceit down to a science.

Here’s how viewing is done: Purchase tickets for the week you’d like to view the online performance; receive a confirmation with a link to our Virtual Theatre and your private password, and access the show anytime you want during the week you purchased. It’s that easy.
