STILL RUDE AFTER
ALL THESE YEARS

The cult comedy trio celebrates 25 years of
saying what you’re thinking—and shouldn’t

If you like your comedy sharp, shameless, and just a little dangerous, Unitard is back to celebrate a quarter-century of gleeful bad behavior.

The long-running trio—Mike Albo, Nora Burns, and David Ilku—returns to Joe’s Pub on April 30 with Uni-Versary: 25 Years of Unitard, a greatest-hits (and possibly worst-hits) evening drawn from decades of sketch comedy that has skewered everyone from politicians to pop culture sacred cows. Their brand? Equal-opportunity offense, delivered with style, bite, and impeccable timing.

Unitard 25 years ago

Born in downtown New York’s now-legendary Fez nightclub, Unitard has spent the last 25 years poking holes in hypocrisy—left, right, and center—while surviving blackouts, hurricanes, and the slow death of print media (not to mention the rise of $8 coffee). Somehow, they’re still standing—and still saying out loud what most people wouldn’t dare.

For this anniversary outing, expect a wild mix of fan favorites, deep cuts, and freshly sharpened material—some of it hilarious, some of it shocking, and all of it unmistakably Unitard. Directed by Adam Pivirotto, the evening promises a fast, fearless ride through the trio’s uniquely twisted comic universe.

In an era when comedy can feel cautious, Unitard remains gloriously unfiltered—a reminder that sometimes the best way to process the madness of the world is to laugh at it… loudly and inappropriately.
